Coachella was the best experience I've ever had. There's just something special about being in the middle of the desert for a giant celebration of creativity and music. Having a great time with your good friends, smack dab in the state I always said I would move to. Enjoying music from noon to 2am as the cool desert wind blows through the crowd felt like a dream.

I loved it. I needed it. Surrounded my beautiful mountains, dry desert air, and a lot of lizards.

I was lucky enough to pop into 1998 gallery on Melrose before I came home. Kathie Olivas had a pretty amazing gallery opening. This really makes me wish i would get off of this couch and do something. I love her work, but when you have well executed cephalopods, sculls, and etc, you can't really go wrong in my book.
